Type of the Scheme

An open-ended equity scheme following a business cycle based investing theme.

Scheme Benchmark : NIFTY 500 TRI. – As the Scheme will seek to invest in equity and equity-related securities of company which endeavour to be in business cycle. Therefore, a broad market index is selected which accounts for a large section of the Indian market capitalization and covers major sectors. Additionally, Nifty 500 TRI forms part of the Tier I benchmark of the AMFI-approved list for the thematic fund (Business Cycle Theme). Benchmark has been chosen on the basis of the investment pattern/ objective of the scheme/s and the composition of the index. The Trustees may change the benchmark in future if a benchmark better suited to the investment objective of the scheme is available, provided any change in benchmark will be subject to regulatory approval of SEBI.

Manager Manage the Scheme?

Fund Manger : Mr. Vishal Biraia
Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering, CFA (Level 2)
Experience :  Mr. Vishal Biraia joined Bandhan AMC Limited in June, 2023 in Fund Management. He was earlier associated with Max Life Insurance (June 2021 to May 2023) and Aviva Life Insurance (July 2018 – November 2021) as Research analyst and assistant fund manager. Prior to that, he was associated with Antique Stock Broking (January 2015 to July 2018) with primary responsibility of research and marketing Indian equities to FII’s and with Batlivala & Karani Securities (June 2007 to July 2014) as Research Analyst. 

Fund Manger : Ms. Ritika Behera
Qualification : MBA (Finance), Bcom.
Experience :  Ms. Ritika Behera has joined Bandhan AMC Limited as Vice President – Equities on August 10, 2023 in Equity Investments team. In her role she will be responsible for
research and analysis. She has total experience of more than 13 years. Prior to Bandhan AMC Limited, she was associated with Ocean Dial Asset management from April 2021 to July
2023 as Analyst. Earlier to this, she was associated with Elara Securities Pvt Limited from January 2017 to March 2021 and Batlivala & Karani Securities Pvt Ltd from August 2013 to January 2017.

Fund Manger : Mr. Harshal Joshi 
Qualification : PGDBM
Experience :  Mr. Joshi has experience spanning over 14 years in Mutual Fund. He has been associated with Bandhan AMC since December 2008 with Fixed Income Investment team. Prior to the same he was associated with ICAP India Pvt. Ltd. (2006 to 2007).

Fund Manger : Mr. Gaurav Satra
Qualification : Chartered Accountant, B.Com
Experience :  Mr. Gaurav Satra joined the Equity Fund Management team of Bandhan AMC in June 2022 and was designated as the Equity Dealer. He has total experience of more than 7.5 years. Prior to the same, he was associated with various Consultancy Firms as a CA from December 2016 to May 2022.

Where Will the Scheme Invest ? 

  • Equity and Equity related instruments of the relevant sectors include equity warrants and convertible instruments.
  • ADRs / GDRs issued by Indian company’s subject to necessary regulatory requirements (or such other limits that the regulations may permit from time to time).
  • Stock futures / index futures and such other permitted derivative instruments.
  • Securities created and issued by the Central and State Governments and/or repos/reverse repos in such Government Securities/Corporate Bonds as may be permitted by RBI (including but not limited to coupon bearing bonds, zero coupon bonds and treasury bills).
  • Securities guaranteed by the Central and State Governments (including but not limited to coupon bearing bonds, zero coupon bonds and treasury bills).
  • Debt instruments issued by domestic Government agencies and statutory bodies, which may or may not carry a Central/State Government guarantee.
  • Corporate debt and securities (of both public and private sector undertakings) including Bonds, Debentures, Notes, Strips, etc.
  • Debt instruments (both public and private sector) issued by banks / development financial institutions.
  • Money market instruments permitted by SEBI including call money market or in alternative investments for the call money market as may be provided by RBI to meet the liquidity requirements.
  • Certificate of Deposits (CDs).

Further, in line with the SEBI email dated March 19, 2024, with effect from April 1, 2024, the scheme shall not invest in overseas ETFs until further notice and any further investment in overseas ETF shall be in line with the limits permitted by SEBI/RBI.
