Large & Mid Cap Fund – An open-ended equity scheme investing in both large cap and mid cap stocks.
Scheme Benchmark : NIFTY Large Midcap 250 Total Return Index (TRI) – Justification: The NIFTY Large Midcap 250 reflects the performance of a portfolio of 100 large cap and 150 mid cap companies listed on NSE, represented through the NIFTY 100 and the NIFTY Midcap 150 index respectively. The performance will be benchmarked to the Total Returns Variant of the Index.
As required under clause 1.9 of Master Circular, the benchmark has been selected from amongst those notified by AMFI as the first tier benchmark to be adopted by mutual funds and which are reflective of the category of the scheme. However, subject to the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 and Circulars issued thereunder, Trustees reserve the right to change the benchmark in future if a benchmark better suited to the investment objective of the Scheme is available.
