Tata Motors Cars Get Cheaper After GST Cut: Tata Motors, the country’s largest passenger car manufacturer, has announced a huge cut in the prices of its passenger vehicles, the price of all these cars will be effective from September 22. Recently, while passing on the benefits of GST amendment by the Government of India to the customers, the prices of models like Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Curve, Harrier and Safari have been reduced from Rs 65,000 to Rs 1,45,000 lakh.
Tata Motors shared this information in a press note on Friday. The company has announced to reduce the prices of its passenger vehicles, which will be effective from September 22, 2025. This reduction can be from Rs 65,000 to Rs 1.45 lakh. The main objective of this move of the company is to pass on the right benefits of the recent GST amendment to its customers.
Mr Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles said, “Fulfilling the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the intent of the Hon’ble Finance Minister, our customers should get the full benefit of GST first.
Further Chandra said that the reduction in GST on passenger vehicles, effective from 22nd September, is a timely and progressive decision that will significantly improve the accessibility of personal transportation for crores of people across the country. He further emphasized that the reduction in car prices will make Tata Cars’ popular cars and SUVs more affordable across all categories, helping first-time vehicle buyers and promoting a rapid shift towards modern transportation solutions.
New Tata Motors Price List
According to the information from the Mumbai office of Tata Company, the company’s small hatchback car Tiago will become cheaper by ₹ 75,000, while the price of compact sedan Tigor will be reduced by ₹ 80,000. Tata’s most popular premium hatchback Altroz has been reduced in price by ₹ 10,000. With a price cut of up to ₹ 1,10,000, it will become even more affordable.
In its SUV Lineup, Tata Motor has Confirmed that the Compact SUV Punch Will see a Price Cut of ₹ 85,000, while the Best Selling Tata Nexon May see a Price Cut of up to ₹ 1.55 Lakh. The Mid Size Curve Model of the Tata Car will also See a Price Cut of up to ₹ 65,000.
